• In 2025, the TF will conduct Mobilization Exercises – this will be available on three different days in May and all members will need to attend one of those days. Stay tuned for the specific dates!
• Availability/Attendance/Documentation – TF members need to remember to upload current documentation on training and classes, attend the minimum number of required training for all positions for which they are rostered and do everything possible to be prepared to deploy for a disaster at a moment’s notice.
• The MI-TF1 web site has a series of new (and old) forms that should be used. In particular, there is a new ‘PPE’ form that all members who have been issued gear need to fill out as soon as possible. To access that section of the website:  https://www.mitf1.org/forms.html

The Search Section held a joint training at the Operating Engineers training site in November and part of the day was spent on continuing to build out the old MSP trailer. The trailer now offers many environmental challenges for canine training.

Connect Rocket
During the monthly test, everyone gets an automated phone call, a text message and an email.  It is important that everyone respond to the notification, but you only have to respond to one of them. It will be recorded regardless of which one you respond to.

When there is a deployment request, connect rocket sends a message to every TF member.  Regardless of your status with the TF, please respond with your availability.  Even if you may not be deploying, you may be requested to help out at the Mob Center.
