MRP’s define the ability of a deployable and validated resources to a large-scale emergency. Deployment effectiveness has been the goal of MI-MABAS since its inception.

The term “Mission Ready Package” is consistent with National Incident Management System descriptive terminology and with the Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC) terminology.

The Michigan Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MI-MABAS) response system’s utilizes Mission Ready Packages (MRPs) from Fire, Rescue, Special Operations, Special Equipment as well as resources available from Michigan Task Force 1.

MRP’s describe the mission capabilities, components of the package, required equipment, logistical requirements, and integration into existing command and control structures.
