The temperature predictions for this week are for very cold and that means the ‘feel’ is going to be even worse if there is wind.
The National Weather Service changed the terms used to describe dangerous weather conditions this year. We no longer have windchill watches and warnings.
The new terminology is:
  • Cold Weather Advisory (replaces windchill advisory)
  • Extreme Cold Watch (replaces windchill watch)
  • Extreme Cold Warning (replaces windchill warning)
